At this moment my english is not perfect, but i hope so will be for not to long time.I wont write whit ohter people and teach more, because I say better as I write.

Hi oliwkafortwilliam or dorcia!
I am lacking anybody who would like to gossip with me in English, therefore I reply of your post from English Only forum. I am very busy man and I have to keep my professional correspondence, in Polish only, unfortunately! I guess it is constructive for my job activity, but uncreative for my at least :(
I haven't neither short-term nor far plans about language-voyage, now. I need to speak up in English, because passive reading the net-posts and etc is insufficient for my. I am afraid I am going back with my English skill.

I had learned English, course of my study (long ago). Next I was worked in Austria for two years, now I insert permanently German’s words and phrases instead of English. In direct contact, I didn't master my shy to go speaking this language even during own holidays in Scotland. For example: I had wanted to speak in shop and I was told "Entshuldigen Sie bitte, Ich möchte ein Brod zu kaufen" (Excuse me, would I buy one bread?). This was a big puzzle for my. I have problems with shuffling of words and correctly spelling, also. Therefore I need some soul to improve my language skill, although I find that our problems are different.

usually people speak better than they write, especially when you learn Eng. abroad... natives do not use v.sophisticated engl. they even dont know what is present simple!! :) and not many poles need writing and grammar - more listenning and speaking, good results gives speaking and working without stress which is SKYPE.... with others foreginers. I do that pretty often... and its real fun, so far.

My English is OK, but still, after two years at home with my wee son I've forgotten many things which I had learned at University :-?

Remember about that "please" mistake :lol: Polish people (students of English aswell) often do that mistake because of the different usage of the word "prosić" in such sentences in Polish
